Security, technology and law are never separate decisions
We are a UK-based training academy and consultancy built around a simple observation: the organisations and professionals who get digital decisions right are the ones who can hold all three perspectives at once.
Why we exist
The gap between what is secure, what is possible, and what is permitted
Cybersecurity protects systems and information. Technology enables people and organisations to operate. Law, regulation and governance define the boundaries within which technology should be designed and used.
In practice these three questions arrive together. Can we do this safely? Can we do this at all? Who answers for it if it goes wrong? Yet most education treats them as separate subjects, taught by separate people, at separate times.
Secure Tech Juris was founded to close that gap — by a dual-qualified lawyer and cybersecurity practitioner who has had to answer all three questions in the same meeting.

To make cybersecurity, technology and governance literacy genuinely accessible — and to teach them as the single, connected discipline that professional practice actually requires.

A generation of professionals and organisations who can make digital decisions that are technically sound, operationally realistic and legally defensible.

Structured, practical and honest. Short modules, real scenarios, frequent retrieval practice, and no claims we cannot evidence.

What we hold ourselves to
- Accuracy before persuasion. We would rather say less than overstate what we are. No invented accreditations, partnerships, statistics or endorsements.
- Independence, stated plainly. We prepare people for recognised certifications without implying that the awarding bodies endorse us.
- Practical over theoretical. If a learner cannot apply it on Monday morning, we have not finished teaching it.
- Accessibility by design. Clear language, sensible pricing and materials that do not assume a technical degree or a legal background.
- Respect for scope. We describe our advisory work as education, training and consultancy. It is not the provision of regulated legal services.
- Built to be checked. Everything we publish should survive scrutiny from a professional in the relevant field.

Built at the intersection of legal and cybersecurity practice
Secure Tech Juris is founded and led by a dual-qualified lawyer and cybersecurity practitioner. That combination is the reason the curriculum is structured the way it is: the legal and technical perspectives are not bolted together after the fact, they are first-hand.
We are actively developing partnerships across industry, academia and the public sector, and we will name them here when they are in place — not before.
